Photoshop: Creature

We used different parts of fruits to make a creature.

We used the photoshop tools to help us make the creature. It was important for us to know how to use the selection tools because it helped us create the creature. The magic wand helped me to cut off any excess white spots that were on the fruit, and the marquee tool helped me select certain fruit shapes. The move tool was useful to me because i got to move the fruits anywhere i wanted on the body. The fruits i used were strawberry for the feet, cut watermelon for the legs, lemon for the body, squash as the arms, and a full watermelon as the head. The ears were made out of a dark orange fruit or vegetable, the nose out of a pineapple, banana as the mouth, eyes out of apple and orange, and carrots for the hair. I used free transformation to help me flip fruits in the direction and shape i needed them in. This was fun because i got to be creative with choosing which fruit for which body parts.
